Geological Hazard Map

It is a cartographic document that gives directions and sets bonds to the urban planning on the base of the geologic, hydrogeological and seismic characteristics of the territory.
The map is part of the cartographic set of maps that form the Provincial Urban Plan; its scale is 1:10,000.

Based on the Provincial Technical Map, it shows
areas with different risk
levels, according to the Provincial Law nr. 26, November 9th, 1987. Last update: February 2002, available in digital format
and through the web.

Geological Hazard Sheet n°28 "La Marmolada"

Financed by the Geological Cartography Program and part of the Geological Cartography Project of the Autonomous Province of Trento, the sheet is meant to analyse and test methodologies for outlying areas with different landslide-risk levels in Alpine areas.

Just thanks to its experimental character,
the sheet is built using
different methodologies by
the three Administrations
(1. the Autonomous Province of Trento, 2. the Autonomous Province of Bolzano and 3.
the Veneto Region) that compose it.

The project is still in progress.

Soil-Permeability Map

The map results from permeability, compositional and granulometric analyses of superficial agricultural soils of the area surrounding the city of Trento.

Hydrogeological Risk Map

A map still under testing, obtained crossing the Geological-Hazard Map, appropriately parameterised, and the Land-use-Planning Map. This map has been built for the Water Supply General Plan. It is in digital format and it covers the entire Trentino Region at 1:10,000 scale.
