The 23th of June 2006 has taken place in Rome a presentation meeting of the Volume "Mapping Geology in Italy". Particularly, with regard to Trentino, into this book is contained a section dedicated to the geological mapping of the Bresimo Valley, that has been done on the basis of the geological relief of Sheet 25 - Rabbi, realised in the sphere of the Carg Project. >> Learn more

Today has been published the new english site of the Geological Survey of the Autonomous Province of Trento (PAT). The aim of this new service is to give to the foreign visitors of our site the chance to see and understand the activities that we do and the services that we offer on the Web. This is just a first step of our english site's development, that will be upgraded in the next months.

The Geological Survey deals with geological, hydrogeological, geotechnical and geomechanical issues.
Its activity mainly consists in providing advises and appraisals and in managing the provincial seismic network and the provincial law for the protection of the geological heritage. In the Activities Section are so described the main PAT's Geological Survey skills.

As in the italian version of this Site, it's available in the "on-line services" Section the Landslide Monitoring Service, that permit to analyse some landslides that are 24 hours a day and 7 days a week checked from our specialized Personnel.
